The School Cook is responsible for preparing and serving nutritious, appealing meals in a safe and sanitary environment while supporting the daily operation of the school kitchen. Duties include food preparation, meal service, maintaining kitchen cleanliness, following food safety and USDA guidelines, operating kitchen equipment, and working collaboratively with staff to ensure students receive high-quality meals each day. The ideal candidate demonstrates strong organizational skills, reliability, teamwork, and a positive attitude when interacting with students and staff. Previous food service experience is preferred, but training will be provided.
