Summary: Responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting and repairing electrical equipment and circuits, principally, but not limited to power distribution, motor control centers, and backup emergency switch gear. Responsible for providing indirect guidance to others and to provide project specific management to others. Performs demand and scheduled preventive maintenance of the facility equipment to primarily include Electrical and associated systems in accordance with departmental, hospital, industry standards and regulatory agency codes. Specific duties include maintaining facilities and equipment in hospital or clinic environment. May be scheduled to work various work shifts, weekends and be on call to meet the needs of the hospital not necessarily within the craft lines. Should have a working understanding of NFPA 99 guidelines current knowledge of various federal, state, local and CMS codes and regulations. Performs other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

Other information: Must obtain the OSHA 10 hour certification within 90 days. 10 Years experience as an Electrician is required. 5 Years Hospital experience is required. 1 Year High-rise Electrical system experience is preferred. 1 Year Mechanical system experience is preferred. Technical/Trade School/Licensure: Journeyman Electrician license is required.
