Neighbor is looking for a talented, ambitious, high-agency leader to run our Local Growth team, which helps commercial and residential property owners grow their earnings on our platform. Some examples of Local Growth initiatives include:

• Google Maps: This is one of Neighbor's largest organic growth channels. Running it involves creating and managing thousands of Google Business Profiles for Neighbor property owners across the country.
• Signage: This is a newer bet that involves installing Neighbor signs at properties across the U.S. and tracking the traffic they drive.
• Supply Expansion: This involves working directly with property owners to invest in capital improvements that grow their Neighbor earnings (think modular storage units, sheds, gravel, fencing, etc.).

As Head of Local Growth, you'll manage a team to grow and optimize existing initiatives while also uncovering and scaling net new bets.

This is a high-ownership, high-stakes position at a company that's disrupting a $500B industry. If you have excellent analytical and operational abilities and want to lead one of the most important teams at Neighbor, this role could be for you.

What You'll Do

• Scale Google Maps by growing and optimizing thousands of Google Business Profiles so they outrank competitors and convert searchers into bookings
• Grow walk-in reservations by scaling and iterating on location signage programs
• Lead supply expansion, helping property owners invest in capital improvements that grow their Neighbor earnings
• Own the demand side of winning key partner pilots leveraging new and existing channels to fill pilot locations with renters and unlock full portfolios
• Own a portfolio of growth bets: prioritize hypotheses, run tests, generate learnings, and scale winners
• Partner with Sales, Product, Marketing, and Data to improve phone and web conversion rates, ship new features and automations, and uncover insights that improve channel operations
• Lead and coach a high-output team raising standards, accelerating speed, developing team members, and surfacing new ideas
• Own channel performance reporting, building dashboards that keep the company, executives, and board informed

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in consulting, growth, performance marketing, or a related field
• Strong track record of leading and coaching teams
• Strong analytical instincts: comfort building dashboards, designing tests, and turning data into decisions
• Experience partnering cross-functionally with Sales, Product, Marketing, and Data
• Ability to prioritize ruthlessly and stay organized across multiple workstreams under ambiguity

Nice to Haves

• Startup experience
• Experience with hyperlocal marketplaces, real estate, storage, or parking
• Familiarity with Google Business Profile optimization or local search at scale
• Experience scaling local channels such as Google Maps, Facebook Marketplace, and Google LSAs
