Position : CNC Machinist – Production Department
Location: Fenton
Pay :$17-19/hr. Based on experience
Shift :6:00am - 2:30pm, OT may be required depending on the daily needs of the shop!

Duties:

• Setup & Operation:Independently perform 1–5 setups per day on CNC vertical and horizontal machining centers or lathes.

• Program Optimization:Make necessary machine adjustments,at the machine control to adjust tool paths, speeds, and feeds.

• Precision Measurement:Use micrometers, calipers, and gauges to perform first-piece and in-process inspections to tolerances of

• Tool Management:Monitor tool wear, perform tool changes, and adjust offsets to maintain part consistency throughout the production run.

• Documentation:Accurately complete production logs and quality check sheets.

• Other duties as assigned

Job Requirements:

• Experience:2–5+ years of experience in an active CNC machining role (setup and operation). Also knowledge of manual machining (Bridgeport mills or manual lathes) is a plus.

• Technical Knowledge:Proficiency withOkuma turning centers &control

• Blueprint Reading:Strong ability to interpret engineering drawings andsymbols.

• Mathematics:Practical application of shop math, including decimals and basic geometry.
