Civil Engineer Project Manager

Carlson Consulting Engineers currently has a need for an entry level Land Development Civil Engineer to train to manage both large and small retail projects. The Civil Engineer will work alongside other Project Managers to aid in the design, permitting, and coordination of projects from conception through construction. Carlson Consulting Engineers has been providing advanced civil design services since 1995. Our team of design professionals has the experience, knowledge, and motivation to provide outstanding engineering solutions. Although helpful, no experience is necessary as extensive training is provided. This is a great position for a recent graduate. Typical Projects will include: Site layout Parking lot design Grading and Drainage Design Stormwater Management Planning Roadway Design Permit compliance Desired Skills and Experience: A Bachelor degree in Civil Engineering EIT License, preferred but not required 1-2 years’ experience in AutoCAD Ability to communicate within a team Ability to communicate with client staff and city leaders Ability to work on multiple projects at one time Self-motivated, capable of working independently or within a project team Compensation: Employer paid health insurance for employee Paid Vacation Unlimited opportunity to grow 401K This is a full time position with benefits.
