A contract position is available for a Speech Language Pathologist specializing in telespeech and teletherapy within a school setting. This full-time opportunity is based in Gaithersburg, MD, serving the Washington DC area and surrounding locations. The assignment runs from August 25, 2026, to June 11, 2027, offering a 35-hour workweek with a focus on remote delivery of services.

Responsibilities include managing caseloads across various age groups, primarily elementary and middle school students, with caseloads ranging from 40 to 57 students depending on the time of year. Assignments will be tailored based on individual comfort levels, skill sets, and geographic location within the Eastern Standard Time zone.

Qualifications and experience required for this role:

• Active Maryland Speech Language Pathology Licensure.
• A minimum of 3 years of virtual, school-based speech therapy experience post-COVID.
• Familiarity with telespeech and teletherapy best practices.
• Ability to manage varying caseload sizes effectively.
• Compliance with time-sensitive credentialing requirements, including House Bill background checks.
• Availability for internal eligibility and prescreen interviews to assess suitability.

• Deliver virtual speech and language therapy services in alignment with district guidelines.
