Shift Type: Night shift, 12-hour shifts starting at 6:45 PM, every other weekend

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide critical care to medical ICU patients with conditions like respiratory failure, sepsis, DKA, and GI bleeds
- Monitor and interpret telemetry, manage ventilators, and respond to changing patient status
- Collaborate with hospitalists, intensivists, and a supportive team in a 10-bed unit
- Utilize Cerner EMR and tele-med robots for efficient patient care
- Participate in bedside reporting and ensure smooth shift transitions
- Float to stepdown and swing beds as needed, maintaining safe nurse-to-patient ratios
Qualifications
- Active California RN license or compact license
- At least 2 years of recent ICU experience
- Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
- Ability to pass a basic dysrhythmia exam (Relias) prior to start
- Comfortable with telemetry, ventilator management, and EKG interpretation
- Willingness to work every other weekend and rotate holidays

- ACLS and BLS protocols
