Full- Charge Bookkeeper – HVAC Company
Location: Victorville, CA
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM
Employment Type: Full-Time, On-Site
Salary: $65,000–$75,000 per year, depending on experience
About the Position
AC Plus Heating & Air is looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our growing team in Victorville. This is a full-time, on-site position for someone who is organized, dependable, and comfortable managing day-to-day bookkeeping responsibilities in a fast-paced service business.
The ideal candidate will have strong experience with QuickBooks Online and be comfortable working independently while maintaining accurate financial records. Experience working in the HVAC, construction, or home-services industry is a plus.
Key Responsibilities
- Full Profit and Loss ownership (A Must)
- Manage day-to-day bookkeeping activities and maintain accurate financial records
- Record and categorize income and expenses
- Reconcile bank and credit card accounts
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Process and track vendor invoices and payments
- Monitor customer payments and outstanding balances
- Assist with monthly financial reporting and account reconciliations
- Maintain organized and accurate documentation
- Assist with payroll-related bookkeeping as needed
- Work with management to resolve billing, payment, and accounting discrepancies
- Maintain accurate records within QuickBooks Online
- Assist with other administrative and accounting duties as needed
Qualifications Required:
- Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or similar accounting position
- Strong working knowledge of QuickBooks Online
- Solid understanding of bookkeeping principles and financial recordkeeping
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of company and financial information
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of assigned responsibilities
- Must be willing to work on-site in Victorville, CA
- Must be available Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM
- Must successfully pass a background check
Preferred / Plus:
- Bilingual in English and Spanish
- Experience with ServiceTitan
- Experience in HVAC, construction, plumbing, electrical, or another home-service industry
- Experience with job costing, service-based businesses, or contractor accounting
- Experience working with payroll and vendor management
