Quality GP12 Inspector – B Shift – Warren MMI Engineered Solutions is seeking reliable, energetic, and positive individuals to join our team as a Quality GP12 Inspector at our Warren, Michigan facility. MMI Engineered Solutions is an established yet growing enterprise providing world‑class engineering solutions for advanced composites and engineered resins across multiple industries. The GP12 Inspector is responsible for ensuring that all products meet company and customer quality standards through inspections, audits, and process monitoring. This role supports production and engineering teams by maintaining quality documentation, conducting dimensional checks, and leading containment activities when needed. Schedule: Monday to Wednesday 6:00 am–12:15 pm; Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday alternating: Off & 6:00–6:15 pm. Essential Functions Conduct internal audits (system, process, and product audits) and communicate results to supervisors and the quality manager. Contribute to receiving product inspection. Support production team by providing guidance as needed. Support engineering team in tool trials as needed. Participate in supplier and customer problem‑solving activities as needed. Lead and participate in quality containment actions as needed. Perform production floor audits, including process books, gaging of parts, and internal sorting. Additional tasks and responsibilities assigned by quality manager. Participate in and support plant‑wide 5S initiatives. Responsibilities & Authority Sort and inspect parts in the pack and scan department. Scan shipping labels to verify they match the production labels. Perform quality receiving inspections. Stop the manufacturing process if the result does not produce a quality part within specifications. Stop the manufacturing process if there are any safety concerns and notify management immediately. Quarantine or recommend "stop‑ship" of products that do not meet quality requirements. Qualifications High school diploma and/or at least 1 year of work experience in a quality inspection role. Experience with injection molding processes and/or components. Strong team orientation and organizational skills. Proven communication skills, both written and oral. Knowledge and experience using Word, Excel, and PowerPoint software. Ability to stand for more than 7.5 hours per day in an environment that may be hot, noisy, and dirty; walking, standing, lifting items.
