Respiratory Therapist - RRT

Schedule

Nights - 12-hour shifts from 7 PM to 7:30 AM. 36 hours per week with every other weekend and holidays as needed. No block scheduling.

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Respiratory Therapist (RRT) to work in adult acute care settings, including ICU, PCU, ED, and floor therapy. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in providing high-quality respiratory care to patients.

Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory care and treatment to adult patients in various healthcare settings.
• Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and implement interventions for respiratory therapy.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust care plans as necessary.
• Educate patients and their families regarding respiratory care and disease management.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Must possess a current Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential from the NBRC.
• Valid New York state license.
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications.
• Minimum of 2 years of U.S. work experience in acute care settings is required for non-U.S. candidates.
