Field Service Engineer - Columbus, OH

Reporting to the Regional Service Manager, the Field Service Technician is responsible for providing front‑line technical service and support to customers while delivering a consistently high level of customer satisfaction. This home‑based role supports customers throughout the Greater Columbus, OH area with regional travel. Typical Responsibilities Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair Videojet coding and marking equipment at customer facilities. Travel throughout the greater Columbus region to support manufacturing customers, with most work completed during the day and limited overnight travel. Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and software‑related issues and deliver effective, timely solutions. Build strong, trusted relationships with customers by acting as a technical advisor and problem solver. Support business growth by identifying opportunities to promote service agreements and newer technology solutions. Essential Requirements Willingness to travel within the assigned territory, including occasional overnight travel. Up to two years of technical, mechanical, electrical, or field service experience. Basic computer and technical proficiency (email, mobile applications, Microsoft Word). Ability to comply with customer safety requirements, PPE standards, and site access policies. Compensation US ONLY – The compensation range for this role is $26.00 – $30.00 USD per hour. This job is also eligible for Incentive Pay.
