Nurse Practitioner (Endocrinology) - El Centro, CA
We are seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner with direct Endocrinology experience to provide comprehensive outpatient care for patients with endocrine, metabolic, and hormonal conditions.
Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate, diagnose, and manage endocrine and metabolic conditions.
- Manage patients with diabetes, thyroid disorders, osteoporosis, and other endocrine conditions.
- Develop treatment plans and manage medications within the NP's scope of practice.
- Order, review, and interpret laboratory and diagnostic tests.
- Manage diabetes using insulin therapy, CGM, insulin pumps, and other diabetes technologies.
- Provide education on medications, nutrition, lifestyle, glucose monitoring, and chronic disease management.
- Monitor patient progress, provide follow-up care, and adjust treatment plans as needed.
- Collaborate with the supervising Internal Medicine physician and other healthcare providers.
Qualifications
- Active California NP license and board certification.
- Direct Endocrinology experience is required.
- Strong hands-on experience managing diabetes and other endocrine disorders.
- DEA registration or eligibility to obtain.
- Strong clinical, communication, and patient-management skills.
