Position Description Ryder is hiring a Storeroom Attendant / Forklift Operator in Stuart, FL — offering weekly pay, excellent benefits, and a career you can feel good about. Pay & Schedule Hourly Pay: $18.23 per hour Schedule: First Shift Driving position & customer service duties. Requires good driving record and experience with customer service. Products & Equipment Products being handled: inbound products such as bolts, cables, reels, wires, anchors, etc. Equipment: Company vehicle, computer and electronic devices. Requirements High school diploma or equivalent. 1-2 years warehouse experience. Intermediate knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel). Working knowledge of WMS systems. Forklift experience. Equipment certification may be required, depending on location. Valid driver’s license and ability to meet driving qualifications. Must have a clean driving record and a personal vehicle; travel within area ~25-50% of day. Strong technical aptitude (mail, scanner, WMS). Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted. Must be able to work both indoors and outdoors. Responsibilities Assist in supporting standard facility Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) that meet/exceed safety, quality, sanitation, and maintenance goals. Create and maintain daily dock schedules. Communicate with carriers regarding appointments and update load statuses. Work closely with Operations Supervisor to ensure workload distribution and WMS floor management. Work closely with inventory department and on-site personnel to resolve problems with day’s orders. Interact with customers to communicate order changes and updates. Maintain various Excel spreadsheets and reports. Perform other duties as required or assigned.
