Senior Credit Analyst - CRE

Senior Credit AnalystWe are seeking an experienced Senior Credit Analyst to join our Commercial Real Estate (CRE) team within the Credit Department. The Senior Credit Analyst will provide support to the bankers by evaluating the financial condition of real estate investors and businesses applying for lending credit with the bank. This role may be based in any of the following office locations: St. Louis Park, Bloomington, Greenwood, Glen Lake, Minneapolis, St. Paul, Orono, and Lake Elmo.Responsibilities:Credit Analysis & UnderwritingCollect, review, and analyze loan requests, financial information, third-party reports, and other due diligence as required for larger and more complex commercial real estate transactions.Prepare credit presentations to be used in the credit approval process including but not limited to: cash flow, proforma and rent roll analysis, appraisal analysis, industry trends, and guarantor analysis.Collaborate with bankers in identifying credit risks, mitigants, and loan structure considerations for such risks.Participate in the loan approval process, including collaborating with credit officers and presenting loan requests to Loan Committee and Credit Risk Management Committee.Perform covenant testing and annual reviews for larger, existing lending relationships.Assist credit officers and managers with projects to monitor and improve the risk management and underwriting processes of the Credit Department.Administrative SupportDevelop and maintain accurate records for lending clients and accounts.Maintain knowledge of all supporting software, compliance, and procedures as they relate to the Credit Department.Adhere to the bank's policies, procedures, security requirements and government regulations including (but not limited to) BSA.Relationship ManagementServe as a leader in the Credit Analyst group and mentor for other Credit Analysts.Assist bankers in maintaining positive relationships with new and existing clients by providing responsive support and simple solutions.Attend and be an active participant in client meetings as needed.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, business or related field7+ years of Credit underwriting or financial analysis experience in CRE transactions. Experience may be gained through commercial banking, CRE investment firms, private credit or similar institutional experience.Superior analytical/reasoning skills.Experience with the nCino commercial banking platform is preferred, but not a requirement.Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.Bridgewater Bank provides a broad offering of competitive benefits including (but not limited to):Healthcare (medical, dental, vision)Basic term and optional term life insuranceShort-term and long-term disabilityParental leave401(k) with employer matchPaid vacation & paid holidaysThe typical annual/hourly base pay range for this role is between $ 85,000 - $125,000 . Compensation may vary based on individual job-related knowledge, skills, expertise, and experience.
