Key Account Manager

The Key Account Manager serves as a senior relationship manager for the company’s products and services, overseeing strategic client engagement across the full investment lifecycle. This role is responsible for deepening and expanding high-value investor relationships, driving portfolio growth and retention, and delivering a high-touch client experience grounded in credibility, responsiveness, and sound judgment. The Key Account Manager coordinates closely with Compliance, Loan Servicing, Marketing, and Management to align client strategy with business objectives, ensure regulatory adherence, and support long-term revenue growth through disciplined account stewardship. Key Responsibilities Serve as the senior point of contact for investor accounts, building trusted relationships and developing a deep understanding of each client’s long-term financial goals, liquidity needs, and investment objectives. Lead consultative conversations with prospective investors regarding investment objectives, suitability, and financial circumstances to assess alignment with the Company’s offerings and services. Perform all necessary processes for new and existing investor clientele, including account set-up, investor qualification, and investment placement. Source and manage lead generation opportunities through sales initiatives, referrals, and networking. Identify and execute opportunities to expand new and existing client relationships by presenting relevant investment solutions aligned with client suitability, portfolio strategy, and applicable federal and state regulations. Ensure client retention by maintaining consistent outbound communication, anticipating client needs, and delivering a high standard of service throughout the investment lifecycle. Contact clients proactively when investment payoffs occur, mature, or new loan opportunities become available. Act as the internal advocate and relationship lead for clients by coordinating with Compliance, Loan Servicing, Marketing, and Management to drive seamless execution, resolve issues proactively, and elevate the overall client experience. Address and resolve client concerns promptly and effectively, escalating issues as needed to prevent disruption to the client relationship. Stay current on all investments offered and funded by the Company to accurately advise clients from initial placement through final payoff. Assist clients with technical support including password resets, loan documentation, and new account paperwork. Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records, including loan pledges, contact notes, and account activity in the company’s proprietary database and CRM (HubSpot). Communicate complex financial information with clarity and confidence, including client presentations, relationship reviews, and internal reporting for leadership. Engage in continuing education to remain current in the financial services industry and maintain required licensing, as applicable. Represent the Company and its investment offerings and services at industry trade shows, conferences, and networking events to strengthen market presence and generate strategic relationship opportunities. Manage and deepen relationships with established high-net-worth accounts and cultivate strategic partnerships with Registered Investment Advisors (RIAs) to support retention, referrals, and long-term business growth. Basic Qualifications High School Diploma Strong interpersonal skills, maturity, and sound judgment with the ability to communicate effectively with a diverse range of individuals. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including experience with client presentations and reporting. Proven ability to build and manage high-level client relationships. Proven ability to build, manage, and expand high-value client relationships with professionalism, credibility, and sound judgment. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel). Working proficiency in Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems, with the ability to maintain accurate records, manage pipelines, and document client activity consistently. Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities with strong attention to detail. Access to a vehicle and a valid driver’s license. Preferred Qualifications Nevada Mortgage Loan Originator License and 3+ years of experience in financial services, investor relations, private lending, credit, collections, or a related client-facing role. Familiarity with Notes, Trust Deed investments, or alternative investment products. Experience using HubSpot or other enterprise CRM platforms to support relationship management, pipeline visibility, and follow-up execution. Demonstrated ability to thrive in a competitive, results-driven environment as a self-starter. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage and prioritize daily and follow-up activities independently. Salary range: $60,000–$80,000 annually, based on qualifications and experience, plus unlimited bonus potential.
