Job Summary: As an Interventional Radiology Technologist under the general supervision of a Radiologist, you will perform high-quality interventional radiology procedures on both ambulatory and hospital patients. Your role will be essential in the diagnosis of diseases and injuries, adhering to established protocols. Essential Functions: Conduct high-quality IR procedures efficiently, maintaining established production and quality standards. Use AIDET principles to effectively communicate with patients and ensure correct procedures are performed. Prepare patients and the procedure area, ensuring safety and compliance with infection-control policies. Maintain equipment and work areas to meet cleanliness standards and report any issues to management. Ensure proper documentation and medical imaging records are maintained in compliance with department policies. Proven ability to perform detailed interventional radiology procedures autonomously. Strong communication skills with a knack for putting patients at ease. Capable of thriving in fast-paced environments and managing stress effectively. Experience with first aid and emergency procedures. Demonstrated commitment to continuous education and the ability to mentor new team members. Requirements: Graduate of an accredited program with experience in a busy IR lab (Neuro and Trauma experience preferred). BLS certification within 30 days of hire. ARRT-R Radiography certification required. Valid Texas Medical Board MRT license. Certification in ARRT Cardiac Interventional Radiography (ARRT-CI), ARRT Interventional Radiography (ARRT-VI), or ARRT Cardiovascular Interventional Radiography (ARRT-CV) within two years of hire. #J-18808-Ljbffr American Recruiters
