Title: Senior Business Analyst
Location: Mississauga, ON, Canada
Job Description :
We are looking for an experienced Senior Business Analyst with 8+ years of experience and a strong background in the Banking and Financial Services domain . The ideal candidate must have hands-on experience working with Banking clients , specifically within Wealth Management environments.
The candidate will work closely with business stakeholders, product teams, technology teams, and project managers to gather requirements, analyze business processes, and support the delivery of technology solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Gather, analyze, and document business and functional requirements.
- Work closely with business stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into detailed requirements.
- Collaborate with Product Owners, Scrum Masters, developers, QA teams, and other stakeholders.
- Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies , including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, backlog refinement, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
- Create and manage user stories, acceptance criteria, and product backlogs using Jira.
- Analyze existing business processes and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Support UAT activities, including test planning, defect tracking, and business validation.
- Facilitate discussions between business and technology teams to resolve requirements and project issues.
- Track requirements and ensure alignment between business objectives and delivered solutions.
- Prepare documentation, status updates, and presentations for stakeholders.
- Support end-to-end project delivery within a Banking/Wealth Management environment.
Required Skills & Experience
- 8+ years of experience as a Business Analyst .
- Strong experience in the Banking / Financial Services domain Mandatory .
- Banking client experience Mandatory .
- Hands-on experience in Wealth Management Mandatory .
- Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies .
- Hands-on experience with Jira .
- Strong experience in requirements gathering, analysis, documentation, and stakeholder management.
- Strong knowledge of business process modeling and functional requirements.
- Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively with business and technical stakeholders.
