Make a difference in the lives of K-12 students as a contract Occupational Therapist in the beautiful Reno, NV area! This on-site opportunity spans the 2026–2027 school year, offering a dynamic and engaging assignment across several school campuses. You'll collaborate with educational teams and manage a varied caseload of approximately 50–55 students, providing a mix of therapy, evaluations, and assessments that support student success and independence in the classroom setting.

What You'll Need to Bring:

• Valid Nevada Occupational Therapist (OT) license
• Previous experience in school-based OT (preferred)
• Ability to adapt therapeutic strategies across K–12 age groups
• Strong communication skills for collaborating with educators, students, and families
• Reliable organizational skills for managing documentation and reporting
• Must complete required fingerprinting and drug screening as part of the credentialing process

Your Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver tailored OT services to support IEP goals and promote student participation
• Conduct thorough evaluations and develop personalized treatment plans
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to foster inclusive learning environments
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation for all interventions and progress
• Communicate effectively with parents, caregivers, and school staff
• Serve 3–4 school sites, engaging with varied student populations and needs
