About the Organization/Team・組織/チームについて

You will be joined to the Product Design Team at PayPay Bank.
PayPay Bank’s services go beyond simply managing assets and savings; they are designed to support users at key moments in their lives, such as when making major purchases or managing retirement savings.
Product designers deliver an optimal user experience at these crucial touchpoints in users’ lives, helping to improve their day-to-day lives.

PayPay銀行のサービスは、資産の管理や貯蓄にとどまらず、大きな買い物や老後資産の運用など、人生の重要な場面でユーザーをサポートする役割を担います。

Job Responsibilities・具体的な業務内容

You will join the project to work alongside Product Managers, engineers and senior product designer to develop new features and improve existing ones, prioritizing the user experience above all else. This role offers various opportunities to take on challenges in delivering a brand-new banking experience to users.

• Comprehensive UX/UI Design: End-to-end design for the PayPay Bank consumer app, mini-apps within the PayPay app, web services, LINE mini-apps, and PayPay Bank corporate apps/web services


• UX Strategy & Concept: Design high-level UX strategies based on project goals, and create design concepts using frameworks such as user personas and customer journey maps


• Holistic Decision-Making: Communicate closely with Product Managers, Engineers, and stakeholders to make strategic decisions based on a holistic view of the overall UX across PayPay Bank


• Research & Optimization: Conduct quantitative and qualitative user research, and propose improvements based on data from numerical analysis tools


• Leadership & Quality Control: Mentor junior designers, oversee the team's deliverables for quality assurance, maintain the design system, and foster a productive working environment


• 一般ユーザー向けのPayPay銀行アプリ、PayPayアプリ内のミニアプリ、Webサービス、LINEミニアプリ、法人向けのPayPay銀行アプリ、WebサービスにおけるトータルなUX/UIデザイン


• プロジェクトゴールや銀行の戦略（KGI/KPI）に基づく、利益とUXのバランスを考慮したハイレベルなUX戦略設計


• ユーザーペルソナ、ジャーニーマップの作成などフレームワークを用いたデザインコンセプトの作成、UXフロー、UIデザインのファイナライズ


• 担当領域にとどまらず、PayPay銀行全体のUXを俯瞰的にとらえた意思決定、およびPM・エンジニア等ステークホルダーとの密な連携


• 定期・定性調査（アンケート・インタビュー等）を用いたユーザーリサーチの実施、数値分析ツールを用いた改善提案


• チームの成果物のクオリティコントロール、ジュニアデザイナーのメンタリング、デザイン業務環境の整備、デザインシステムの運用

Required Experience/Skills・必要な経験/スキル

• 6+ years of professional experience in UX/UI design for mobile applications (iOS/Android) and mobile web.
• Practical proficiency in UX/UI design using Figma and Adobe tools.
• Proven track record in product releases, effectiveness measurement (analytics), and iterative improvement.
• Business conversation level in Japanese 
• 6年以上のモバイルアプリ（iOS/Android）、モバイル WebのUX/UIデザインの実務経験
• Figma、Adobeを用いたUX/UIデザインの実務経験
• プロダクトのリリース、効果測定、改善の実務経験
• ビジネスレベルの日本語

• Practical experience applying HCD (Human-Centered Design) or Design Thinking methodologies.
• Experience facilitating design workshops.
• Experience conducting user research using both qualitative and quantitative methods.
• Experience operating in-house services.
• Experience leading projects from requirements definition through prototyping to final visual design.
• Experience building and maintaining design systems.
• Conversational level in both Japanese and English
• HCD（人間中心設計）やデザイン思考を活用したデザインの実務経験
• デザインワークショップのファシリテーション経験
• 定性、定量的な調査を用いたユーザーリサーチ実施経験
• インハウスでの自社サービス運用経験
• 複数のプロジェクトにおいて要件定義からプロトタイピング、ビジュアルデザインまでを担当した経験
• デザインシステムの構築、運用経験
• 日本語、英語の2言語が日常会話レベルで可能

• Annual leave (up to 14 days in the first year, granted proportionally according to the month of employment. Can be used from the date of hire)
• Personal leave (5 days each year, granted proportionally according to the month of employment）
