Ensure members’ needs are met through personal recognition and by providing quality service. Monitor the well‑being of all participants throughout the exercise program. Assume a leadership role as a professional in the area of fitness and wellness. Encourage participants to continue with exercises and make healthy choices. Ensure that a safe and healthy environment exists for exercising. Enforce all fitness facility policies, rules and regulations. Assist in cleaning and general maintenance of fitness areas. Arrive well‑prepared: music cued, routine thought out, ample time for setup and to greet participants prior to the start of class. Requirements Group exercise certification (ACE, NETA, AFAA or equivalent) required. Format‑specific certifications and First Aid, CPR and AED certifications required. Experience teaching group fitness classes required, specifically Kettlebell. Experience teaching a variety of group fitness classes is preferred. Candidates must successfully complete and pass the City’s evaluation of the pre‑employment process prior to their first day of employment.
