Job Description

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with mechanical subcontractors nationwide
• Review and interpret mechanical scopes within government RFPs and bid documents
• Manage estimating workload and deadlines across multiple concurrent bids
• Prepare budgetary estimates for designbuild and bidbuild opportunities
• Coordinate with design teams during early design to ensure cost-effective, compliant solutions
• Issue bid solicitations, manage subcontractor engagement, and ensure competitive coverage
• Analyze subcontractor/vendor quotes and collaborate with Senior Estimator on final pricing
• Develop and negotiate detailed subcontract scopes
• Support design teams post-award to ensure alignment with budget
• Build and maintain historical cost data
• Assemble all required bid documentation
• Attend prebid meetings and site visits as necessary

The Successful Applicant

• Experienced mechanical estimator who can immediately contribute without heavy training
• Comfortable working on projects $50M+
• Skilled with Bluebeam and Procore
• Background from either a GC or subcontractor environment
• Strong communicator with the ability to coordinate across teams, subs, and design partners
