Overview:

Ōnin Staffing is hiring a Program Director for a client in the Albuquerque area . This is a direct hire opportunity with a growing child daycare center that is looking for a strong, experienced leader to oversee daily operations and support continued growth.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience running a daycare or early childhood education program and will be familiar with the regulations, compliance requirements, staffing needs, and day-to-day operations involved in managing a childcare center.

This position offers tremendous room for growth for the right candidate. Pay is commensurate with experience, with very generous compensation available for a highly qualified candidate.

Pay: $50,000–$80,000 per year
Location: Albuquerque, NM
Position Type: Direct hire
Work Location: In person

• Oversee daily operations of a child daycare center
• Ensure compliance with state licensing, safety, and childcare regulations
• Lead, support, and develop daycare staff
• Maintain a safe, positive, and nurturing environment for children
• Communicate professionally with parents, families, staff, and leadership
• Support enrollment, scheduling, classroom coverage, and center operations
• Help create and maintain policies, procedures, and operational standards
• Ensure the center is organized, compliant, and operating efficiently
• Support growth and long-term success of the daycare program

Skills and Experience:

Job Requirements:

• Must have strong experience in daycare, childcare, or early childhood education operations
• Previous leadership or program director experience preferred
• Must understand childcare center regulations and compliance expectations
• Must be organized, dependable, and able to lead a team
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills required
• Must be comfortable working in person in a daycare environment
• Must be passionate about supporting children, families, and staff
• Must be able to pass all hiring and background requirements
