Travel Physical Therapist – Page, Arizona Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a Travel Physical Therapist for a 13‑week assignment based in Page, Arizona. The role consists of 12‑hour shifts, 36 hours per week, with competitive pay and comprehensive benefits. Key Responsibilities Evaluate patients’ physical conditions using standardized tests and clinical examinations to identify functional limitations and treatment needs. Develop personalized rehabilitation programs based on assessment findings and patient goals. Implement treatment plans with exercise, manual therapy, and modalities to improve mobility and reduce pain. Operate and maintain specialized physical therapy equipment safely. Assess patient progress, adjust treatment plans, and document outcomes in the medical record. Collaborate with physicians, nurses, occupational therapists, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate care. Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs, proper body mechanics, injury prevention, and self‑management. Maintain a safe treatment environment, adhering to infection control protocols and safety guidelines. Participate in quality‑assurance initiatives and ongoing professional development. Assist with discharge planning to ensure smooth transitions to community or home settings. Perform other duties within scope of practice as assigned. Qualifications Valid Physical Therapy license in compliance with state regulations. Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC). Doctorate degree in physical therapy (preferred). Experience in physical therapy; recent graduates welcome. Additional certifications or licenses may be required for this position. Essential Skills Critical thinking, service excellence, and strong interpersonal communication. Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently. Proficiency in PC skills. Physical abilities: remaining stationary, moving 50‑100 lb equipment, push, pull, and bend. Interpersonal skills: work effectively with diverse personnel and maintain a positive attitude. Technical skills: fine manipulation, assist with procedures, and use department equipment. Mental readiness to cope with frequent public contact, meet deadlines under pressure, and handle irregular activity schedules. Visual acuity and effective communication abilities.
