Registered Nurse – Labor and Delivery

Schedule

Shift: 3x12 Day (07:00 - 19:30)

Assignment Details

Guaranteed Hours: The facility has the ability to call off once per pay period (2-weeks).

Requirements

• 2 years of experience required
• Must be able to circulate
• Must be able to perform sterile vaginal exams
• Certifications required: BLS, ACLS, NRP, AWHONN Intermediate (AWHONN Advanced preferred)
• Experience in large hospital settings highly preferred
• Pending License accepted: No
• Local Radius: 50 miles

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care in the Labor and Delivery unit.
• Conduct assessments and perform necessary clinical procedures.
• Monitor the mother's and infant's health during labor and delivery.
• Assist in creating and executing care plans tailored to patient needs.
• Collaborate closely with healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient care.
• Provide education and support to patients and their families.
