Finance ManagerColumbia River Health is seeking an experienced Finance Manager to provide hands-on financial leadership for a mission-driven community health organization in Boardman, Oregon. This position requires much more than general accounting experience. The successful candidate must understand the financial realities of rural healthcare and bring prior experience working within either a Federally Qualified Health Center, community health center, Critical Access Hospital, or comparable rural healthcare organization with complex reimbursement and regulatory requirements. This is not a role for someone learning healthcare finance for the first time. Columbia River Health needs a seasoned professional who can understand the numbers, strengthen financial systems, ensure accuracy, improve accountability, and help leadership make informed decisions.This is a hands-on role. The Finance Manager must be comfortable both leading financial processes and working directly within the details.Columbia River Health needs someone who understands that financial leadership is not simply producing reports. You may be a strong fit if you take ownership of accuracy and deadlines, know how to build reliable financial processes, understand the difference between reporting numbers and interpreting them, can identify concerns early and communicate them clearly, are comfortable asking difficult financial questions, hold yourself and others accountable, understand rural healthcare reimbursement and limited-resource environments, can improve systems without making them unnecessarily complicated, collaborate effectively with clinical, operational, and executive leaders, communicate directly, respectfully, and without hiding concerns, are willing to work inside the details when necessary, and want your financial expertise to support care for an entire community.This organization needs a finance professional who can be trusted with both the numbers and the story those numbers are telling.In a rural community health organization, financial strength directly supports patient care.
