We are seeking Full Stack Software Engineers who are passionate about building products with automation on AWS and On-prem. This role will support the Digital team in automating business processes and build foundational frontend and backend applications on AWS. The Software Engineer, Full Stack will also collaborate with and across Agile teams to design, develop, test, implement, and support technical solutions in full-stack development tools and technologies. Share your passion for staying on top of tech trends, experimenting with and learning new technologies, participating in internal & external technology communities, and mentoring other members of the engineering community.Essential FunctionsEngineers automated solutions, automated testing, monitoring and observabilityCollaborates with product managers, cross functional teams, and deliver robust cloud-based solutionsUtilizes programming languages like React, HTML/CSS, Node.js, SQL, Python, Open Source databases, Container Orchestration services including Docker and Kubernetes, and a variety of AWS tools and services, Windows PowerShellDevelops solutions for improving quality, delivery, efficiency, and customer and employee experience for business partners using automation technologies.Demonstrates advanced understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and CI/CD pipelines and tools.Leads resolution of production issues and engages IT and vendors as necessary.May prioritize and oversee activities of others to meet deadlines and quality standards.Works closely with Program owner and business units regarding enhancements and changes.Collaborates with and across Agile teams.Learns and leads implementation of new technologies by analyzing technical specifications, build and configure supporting infrastructure, and implementing security best practices.Provides workday and after-hours production support, including troubleshooting, problem correction, testing, and promotion to the production environment.Leads root cause analysis of application issues and facilitates resolution by coordinating with the vendor, internal IT and users as appropriate.Demonstrates advanced knowledge of version control systems like Git as well as the ability to manage code repositories, branching strategies, and code review processes effectively.May provide technical assistance and mentoring to engineering team.EducationBachelor's Degree in computer science, information systems or a relevant discipline. preferredWork Experience5 years of experience in front end and back end development required2 years of experience in Agile practices required2 years of experience with React, Typescript and Node, and cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud requiredPrior Experience designing and implementing of AI/ML-powered features to enhance automation, decision-making, and customer experience in agricultural finance applications, using tools such as Amazon SageMaker, TensorFlow, or Scikit-learn preferredPrior Experience productionizing ML models, integrating them into full-stack applications with scalable APIs and real-time inference pipelines preferredPrior Experience leveraging generative AI to improve customer-facing tools, such as chatbots, document automation, and intelligent search capabilities preferredDemonstrated technical, analytical and problem-solving skills that enhance working with problems that are complex and often unique. Compensation may vary based on individual job-related knowledge, skills, expertise, and experience. This position is eligible for a discretionary annual incentive program driven by organization and individual performance.
