Head Teller

The Head Teller I is responsible for the total cash program and the implementation of the cash policy of the credit union ensuring that the member's transactions are handled in the most efficient, accurate manner. This individual is responsible for supervising the teller staff. This person has access to the total operating cash fund and is responsible for verifying and maintaining all cash records. JOB DUTIES: 1. Analyze cash needs and make certain that sufficient cash is available. 2. Replenish cash to tellers; maintain and balance cash dispensers (where applicable), as needed. 3. Maintain plastic cards, inventories and reconcile to monthly reports as needed. 4. Supervise and schedule work of tellers on a regular basis. This includes, but is not limited to: Maintain daily schedule for teller staff (i.e. lunch hours, vacation, etc.) to assure branch is staffed appropriately. Monitor, Edit, and Approve e. TIME timecards Complete performance reviews with assistance from management, etc. ...Teller, Banking, Insurance
