The Analyst will play a vital role in supporting all aspects of PJT Partners' shareholder advisory business with a focus on the Strategic Investor Relations business vertical.Responsibilities of the Analyst (Strategic Investor Relations) include, but are not limited to, the following:Execution of Client EngagementsWork effectively within assigned client teams on content that spans Shareholder Advisory business verticals to support client mandatesAssist in preparing high-impact management/investor presentations, press releases, scripts and other deliverables relating to a range of investor matters—including both fundamental and governance issuesSupport client team in analyzing company fundamentals and IR messaging to deliver advice to senior executives and directors regarding a range of strategic and investor topics including: corporate strategy, capital allocation, financial disclosure and guidanceSupport financial and valuation analyses to identify and develop creative solutions to address issues that may adversely impact valuationBusiness DevelopmentSupport the senior team's efforts to identify and prioritize new business opportunitiesDevelop effective preparation materials for pitch meetingsBuilding a Strong BrandResearch, analyze and develop materials relating to institutional investors and market developments for use with clients, prospects, and other market participantsContribute to the firm's intellectual leadership by supporting the development of analytical frameworks and other research materials with broad applicabilityQualifications:PJT Partners seeks to hire individuals who are highly motivated, intelligent and have excellent academic, leadership and extracurricular records.
