About the Position

Job Title: Occupational Therapist Profession: Therapy/Rehabilitation Specialty: Acute Care Client Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 Experience: Minimum of 1 year of inpatient acute care hospital experience required License: Valid State License required Certifications: BLS, NBCOT Must-Have: Must have inpatient acute care hospital experience Description: Position will float between units. On-call is not required. Weekends are required, varying around 4 weekend days per month. Block schedules are required. Hardstop requirement must have inpatient acute care hospital experience. Providers are expected to complete 40 hours of orientation. Patient age groups include adults and geriatrics. Daily patient census is approximately 165. Providers may be expected to float between nearby facilities. Refusal to float may result in termination of assignment. Providers must commit to working 3 of the 5 holidays. All requests for time off must be made upfront during the submission process. Inflexibility beyond the contracted schedule or time off requests may lead to termination of contract. Providers will be provided communication devices needed to perform duties at no cost. Providers are expected to submit monthly cell phone bills directly if required for the assignment. References are required covering the last 3 years of experience. Travel experience is preferred but not required. Patient diagnoses may vary. Special procedures and unit details will be described by management. Please ensure all qualifications are met before applying.
