Registered Dietitian

Amwell Medical Group (AMG), in partnership with Amwell, is a national telehealth clinical practice. We practice across all 50 states - 24 hours/day, 365 days/year. Our providers are credentialed to work with our client referrals across the country. Your Role AMG is seeking Registered Dietitians (RD) to join the team on a contract basis to provide patient-centered nutrition education and counseling via telehealth for a variety of health conditions and concerns. This individual will join a team of other registered dietitians and shall serve in a clinical role for AMG, providing individualized nutrition plans to help each member achieve their overall health and wellness goals. You will provide guidance on Amwell's video based, HIPAA compliant, telehealth platform. You will function under the leadership of the Medical Director and have the full support of AMG’s clinical practice group as well as that of AMG’s 24/7 technical support team in your work on the platform. This is a part-time, work from home position- appointments will be scheduled in advance, based on your availability. There are no terms to the contract. Each visit will be 30 minutes in length. Qualifications Required Bachelor or Master of Science degree in nutrition or dietetics Completed Dietetic Internship or Coordinated Undergraduate Program from Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics Documentation of current status as Registered Dietitian Minimum 1 year of experience Hold at least one independent unrestricted state license to practice (multiple states a plus) Laptop with camera, and home office or quiet area to provide confidential nutrition counseling. Preferred 2 to 5 years of experience with nutrition counseling The ideal candidate is enthusiastic, flexible, and committed to providing compassionate care to individuals enrolled in our nutrition program.
