Psychometrist
Mosaic is hiring a Psychometrist to support our autism diagnostic services team. The Psychometrist works directly with parents and their children throughout the assessment process which includes providing the ADOS-2 and other relevant autism assessments within Mosaic clinics. The Psychometrist works closely with our psychologists to assess and offer insights into each child's unique needs.
- Administering ADOS-2, ASRS, CARS 2 and other assessments to individuals of varying ages and developmental levels.
- Building and maintaining therapeutic relationships with families and their children to ensure a positive and safe clinical experience. This includes meeting with families at a Mosaic clinic, explaining the assessment process, alleviating fears, answering questions, and providing a supportive environment.
- Scoring assessments accurately according to standardized protocols and writing up results in a clear, concise, objective and professional manner.
- Collaborating with clinicians and psychologists to interpret assessment results through follow up emails and phone calls.
- Maintaining detailed records of assessments and outcomes by uploading them into Central Reach, Mosaic's client health information platform.
- Staying current with updates to diagnostic protocols and best practices by completing ongoing trainings, as required.
- Attending monthly supervision with psychologists and implementing clinical feedback.
- Traveling between multiple clinics to support assessment needs.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, demanding environment while managing high volume of deliverables which may often times create conflict deadlines.
- Ability to effectively communicate through written reports.
- Other duties as assigned.
Education and Experience
- Masters degree or higher in one of the following: Psychology, School Counseling, Occupational Therapy, Speech-Language Pathology, Social Work, Education, Special Education, or a related field
- Prior experience working with children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)
- Strong interpersonal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team
