Maintenance Technician I (12 hour Nights)

Baxter seeks a Maintenance Technician I for its Marion, North Carolina manufacturing facility to maintain and repair medical device production equipment on a 12-hour night shift. The role involves troubleshooting, preventative maintenance, and equipment repairs while adhering to quality and safety protocols.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot and repair manufacturing equipment including IV solution filling, packaging machinery, robotics, and electrical systems
- Perform preventative maintenance tasks and root cause analysis to ensure operational equipment
- Document all maintenance work in CMMS and follow work order procedures and signoffs
- Respond to equipment issues and trouble calls promptly while maintaining safety compliance
- Participate in continuous improvement projects and support plant production operations
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- 1–2+ years of maintenance experience on automated manufacturing equipment
- Proficiency with electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, and diagnostic tools
- Familiarity with CMMS systems, preferably Maximo
- Knowledge of PLC systems (Siemens, Allen Bradley, Omron) and AC/DC motors/drives
- Experience with high-speed packaging, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems
- Fluent English communication and understanding of cGMP regulations
Compensation: $3,500 sign-on bonus
