# Job Opportunity – Emergency Department Registered Nurse – Texas

Start Date: September 1, 2026

Location: San Antonio, Texas

Schedule: Emergency Department coverage; day, mid, and night shifts available; no on-call required; weekend availability as needed

• Join a 13-bed emergency department with a dedicated fast track area for efficient patient flow
• Patient ratios: 1:4 for standard ED, 1:6 in fast track area with lower acuity patients
• Meditech EMR system in place for streamlined documentation
• Comprehensive ED equipment including vitals machines, portable EKG, glucometers, transport monitors, and Belmont rapid transfuser
• Collaborative team environment with experienced RN and support staff coverage across all shifts
• Opportunities to perform key ED procedures including triage, medication administration, and splinting

• Current RN license in good standing
• Previous emergency department experience required
• TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) certification required
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification required
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required
• PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) certification required
• Ultrasound-guided IV insertion experience preferred
