About the Position

OBGYN locums in Alabama with 24 hour call coverage in an inpatient LDRP setting, supported by adjacent OR and PACU for routine OB and GYN surgical needs.

Highlights

• 24 hour call shifts with a defined inpatient footprint, 32 bed unit
• LDRP plus dedicated exam and postpartum GYN space, 10 LDRP rooms and 16 pp/gyn rooms
• Two ORs with PACU adjacent, straightforward access when cases need to move quickly
• EPIC environment, current hands on experience required

Practice Setting

• Inpatient coverage across LDRP, antepartum, and postpartum GYN rooms
• Routine OBGYN OR workflow, cases run through on site OR with adjacent PACU
• Adult patient population
• 32 bed capacity

Schedule

• 24 hour call coverage
• Call may begin at 5pm on the first day
• Multiple short holiday and early fall blocks available across the year

Cases and Procedures

• Normal OBGYN cases in the OR

Requirements

• Must be an MD or DO
• Board Certified in Obstetrics & Gynecology
• Active Alabama license required
• EPIC charting, current experience required
