Clinical Research Nurse

Required Qualifications

• Active Maryland Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience preferred; strong new graduate nurses will be considered.
• Experience providing direct patient care in a clinical setting.
• Previous phlebotomy or blood draw experience preferred.
• Strong assessment, documentation, and critical-thinking skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a clinical research environment and follow regulatory guidelines.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior clinical research experience.
• GCP certification or willingness to obtain certification during onboarding.
• Experience in infusion nursing, surgical nursing, PACU, or other acute care settings.

Schedule: Onsite

• Monday - Wednesday: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM
• Thursday: 7:00 AM - 11:00 AM

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care and monitoring throughout clinical research studies.
• Support credentialing activities and study-related documentation.
• Conduct patient assessments, including vital signs and clinical evaluations.
• Monitor study participants and collect accurate clinical research data.
• Administer IV and oral medications, including narcotics, according to protocol requirements.
• Perform pain assessments and monitor patients for adverse events and side effects.
• Conduct ECGs, phlebotomy procedures, and maintain IV access.
• Complete protocol-specific documentation accurately and in a timely manner.
• Educate study participants regarding procedures, expectations, and study requirements.
• Assist with laboratory procedures and specimen collection.
• Ensure compliance with Good Clinical Practice (GCP), CFR regulations, and study protocols.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Pasadena, MD.

The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $50.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.

This is a fully onsite position in Pasadena,MD.
