Position Medication Aide / Med Tech – On‑call position. Pay: $22.65 to $26.91 per hour, DOE. Location 1 AlmaVia of San Francisco 1 1 Thomas More Way 11 San Francisco CA 94132 1 AlmaVia of San Francisco About the Facility AlmaVia of San Francisco is an assisted living and memory care community, part of the Elder Care Alliance family. We provide person‑centered care, promoting respect, integrity, and well‑being. Responsibilities Prepare and pass medication for residents as ordered by a physician, report any medication errors, side effects or problems to supervisor or physician. Document administration or refusal of medication in required format and style. Maintain documentation and communication log in accordance with required procedures, using electronic system when appropriate. Reorder meds as needed, following appropriate protocols. Follow medication policies and procedures – responsible for the delivery, ordering, re‑ordering, storage, documentation, and destruction of medications. Ensure medication is available when needed through on‑time refills. Order labs as necessary. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. Working experience with computerized Point of Care and other systems. Six months or more in long‑term care, home care or related field preferred. Successful completion of Med Tech Training program and Medication Aide/Medication Tech certification in state, as required. Minimum of six months experience in long term care, home care, or a related field. Ability to speak, read, write and understand English. Current CPR/First Aid certification. Successful completion of background check, drug screen, and other pre‑employment testing as required by state (may include fingerprinting and/or pre‑employment physical). #J-18808-Ljbffr
