Work Environment\n

This role is fully remote, providing flexibility for both you and the patients you serve. You will primarily conduct therapy sessions via telehealth, ensuring accessibility for clients while maintaining high standards of care. Collaborating with a diverse team of professionals across multiple disciplines, you will have unlimited access to resources and support in a setting that values compassion and collaboration. Our work schedule is Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, with occasional flexibility to meet patient needs.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Design and implement evidence-based treatment plans, applying therapeutic techniques that consider both cultural and personal histories.

• Provide a range of therapeutic modalities, including individual, family, and group therapy, with an emphasis on fostering resilience and emotional well-being.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other healthcare professionals to provide holistic and coordinated patient care.

• Respond effectively to mental health crises, offering immediate support and intervention in high-stress situations.

• Educate clients and their families about mental health issues, empowering them with information about treatment options and community resources.

• Maintain accurate and secure patient records, adhering to legal, ethical, and organizational guidelines.

• Participate actively in team meetings, case conferences, and ongoing cultural competency training to enhance the quality of care provided.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A valid license as an LMFT, LMHC, LCSW, or LCSW-R in the state of New York.
\n
• Proficient understanding of various mental health disorders and evidence-based treatment modalities.
\n
• Demonstrable experience providing culturally responsive therapy in individual and group settings.

• Strong crisis intervention skills; ability to remain composed and effective in emergencies.

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills essential for building rapport with diverse populations.

• Prior proficiency with electronic health record (EHR) systems and related software applications.
\n
• Commitment to ethical practice, confidentiality, and professional boundaries.

• Ability to thrive in a multidisciplinary team environment.
