We are excited to announce an opportunity for a BE/BC fellowship-trained Orthopedic Joint Surgeon to become a part of our clinical team in Jackson Heights, Queens, NY . We particularly encourage applications from candidates who are fluent in Spanish.

Position Overview

Your surgical practice will primarily take place at Long Island Jewish Forest Hills (LIJFH) , a 312-bed community teaching hospital located in Queens, NY. LIJFH offers a range of services including inpatient medical and surgical care, intensive care, and women's health services. The hospital is recognized as a Level II Perinatal Center and features an Emergency Department that serves as a 911 receiving site, a certified heart station, and a designated Stroke Center by New York State. Our Orthopedic Department has received advanced certification in total joint replacement from the Joint Commission, and we pride ourselves on having a skilled staff equipped with the latest diagnostic and treatment technologies.

Candidate Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess the following:

• Completion of an accredited Orthopedic Surgery Residency and Joint fellowship.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Orthopedic Surgery.
• Must hold or be eligible for a medical license in the State of New York.
• Fluency in Spanish is highly encouraged.

Compensation and Benefits

The full-time clinical base salary for this position ranges from $125K to $750K , influenced by various factors such as specialty, experience level, quality of care, academic achievements, patient satisfaction, and productivity. The stated compensation range reflects a good faith estimate at the time of this job posting and may be subject to change in the future.
