Local Truck Driver - 3rd Shift

Local Truck Driver – Box Truck / Class A CDL Fill-In Driver – Columbus, OH
$25.00/hour • 40 Hours • Home Daily • Tuesday-Saturday Schedule • Weekly Pay
Looking for a steady local driving job with guaranteed hours and great benefits? ProDrivers is hiring a Local Truck Driver for a full-time, permanent position in Columbus, OH.
In this role, you'll primarily operate a 26' box truck delivering John Deere parts to dealerships throughout the area. When needed, you'll step in as a Class A CDL driver to cover vacations, time off, and other business needs. This is a great opportunity for a Local Truck Driver who wants consistent local work while keeping their CDL skills sharp.

No residential deliveries

Schedule
The regular delivery route starts at 1:30 AM and runs in a 26' box truck. When covering Class A routes, start times are typically between 7:00 PM and 9:00 PM.
What You'll Do

Operate a 26' box truck making local deliveries to John Deere dealerships
Serve as a Local Truck Driver on daily delivery routes
Fill in on tractor-trailer routes as needed
Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections
Load, unload, and secure freight safely
Maintain delivery paperwork and records
Provide excellent customer service
Follow DOT regulations and company safety standards

What We're Looking For

Valid Class A CDL
Current DOT Medical Certificate
Clean MVR
Consistent work history
At least 12 months of recent verifiable tractor-trailer experience
Ability to safely operate a 26' box truck and a Freightliner tractor with a 53' trailer
Reliable, safety-focused, and dependable professional
Previous experience as a Local Truck Driver preferred

Valid Class A CDL

Clean driving record

Experience as a Local Truck Driver

Ability to lift, move, and handle freight as required
