Bookkeeper/Office Manager (Vernon)

Job Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Bookkeeper/Office Manager to join our team. This role is vital in maintaining accurate financial records, managing office operations, and supporting overall business efficiency. The ideal candidate will have strong experience with accounting software, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to handle multiple responsibilities in a quick‑paced environment. Duties Manage day-to-day bookkeeping tasks including accounts payable and accounts receivable processing Perform account reconciliation and bank reconciliation to ensure accuracy of financial data Utilize accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, or Xero for data entry and financial reporting Conduct account analysis to identify discrepancies and resolve issues promptly Assist with budgeting processes and financial planning activities Maintain organized financial records and ensure compliance with company policies and regulations Oversee payroll processing and related HR administrative tasks Support office management functions including scheduling, correspondence, and administrative support Prepare financial reports for management review and audit purposes Ensure timely processing of invoices, payments, and other financial transactions Qualifications Proven experience in bookkeeping, accounting, or office management roles Proficiency with accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, or Xero is required; familiarity with multiple platforms is a plus Strong understanding of accounting principles including accounts payable/receivable, account reconciliation, and bank reconciliation Experience with payroll processing and related software tools Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively Attention to detail and high level of accuracy in data entry and record keeping Ability to analyze financial data and prepare clear reports for management Strong communication skills and professional demeanor Prior experience in budgeting and account analysis is preferred This position plays a crucial role in ensuring our financial integrity and operational efficiency.
