36 hrs/week | Travel or Local Contract

Pay & Contract Details

Travel Package:

• $66/hr blended rate

• $34/hr taxable + $32/hr non-taxable stipend

• Weekly gross: $2,376

• $500 travel reimbursement ($250 on 2nd check, $250 at completion)

Local Option:

• $62/hr W2

Schedule:

• 36 hours per week

Position Overview

The Medical Surgical RN provides direct, patient-centered care to adult patients with a wide range of medical and post-surgical conditions. This role requires strong clinical judgment, attention to detail and the ability to respond quickly to changes in patient condition.

You will play a key role in coordinating care, supporting recovery and ensuring a safe and efficient patient experience from admission through discharge.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to Med Surg patients

• Perform comprehensive assessments and initiate care plans

• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders

• Monitor patient status and respond to clinical changes

• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams

• Educate patients and families on care plans and discharge instructions

• Maintain accurate documentation in EMR

• Float to other units as needed based on skill set

• Uphold patient safety, confidentiality and quality standards

Requirements

• Active RN license in Oregon (required)

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program

• Current BLS, ACLS and PALS certifications

• Recent Medical Surgical experience

Preferred:

• BSN

• CMSRN certification
