Human Resources Coordinator

About the Opportunity Divine Resource Solutions is partnering with a growing organization to identify a Human Resources Coordinator who will support day-to-day HR operations and employee lifecycle activities. This role serves as a key resource for employees, managers, and candidates while ensuring HR processes are administered efficiently, accurately, and in compliance with applicable regulations. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, customer-focused, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining confidentiality. Key Responsibilities New Hire Onboarding & Orientation Coordinate the onboarding process from offer acceptance through employee start date. Monitor completion of pre-employment requirements, including background checks, drug screenings, and onboarding documentation. Communicate onboarding status updates to leadership and hiring teams. Coordinate employee start dates and onboarding logistics. Facilitate virtual new hire orientation sessions. Process and maintain Form I-9 documentation in compliance with federal requirements. Employee Records & HR Administration Create, maintain, and audit personnel files and employee records. Process employee data changes within the organization’s HRIS. Ensure employee records are accurate, complete, and maintained in accordance with company policies and applicable regulations. Support HR compliance initiatives and recordkeeping requirements. Employee Support & HR Operations Monitor HR communications channels and respond to routine employee and manager inquiries. Escalate complex employee relations, benefits, leave of absence, payroll, or compliance matters to appropriate HR team members. Provide exceptional customer service while maintaining professionalism and confidentiality. Compliance & Program Administration Administer employee compliance programs, including random screening and testing initiatives as required. Coordinate documentation, tracking, reporting, and follow-up activities associated with compliance programs. Respond to unemployment claims and requests for separation information. Assist with audits, compliance reporting, and special HR projects as assigned. Qualifications Education & Experience Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred. Minimum of one (1) year of Human Resources experience. Equivalent combinations of education and relevant experience will be considered. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong customer service and problem-solving abilities. Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and Adobe Acrobat. Experience with HRIS platforms preferred. Physical Requirements Ability to remain stationary and work at a computer for extended periods. Ability to communicate effectively through video conferencing, telephone, and email. Ability to occasionally lift or move office materials weighing up to 15 pounds. Work Environment This position operates primarily in a professional office environment with frequent use of computers, video conferencing platforms, and standard office equipment.
