Key Responsibilities The staff nurse plays a vital role in delivering nursing care to patients across all stages of life. Utilizing nursing processes, the nurse will: Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care. Operate within the organization's policies and procedures. Exhibit professional growth and accountability. Maintain high standards of practice. Coordinate care activities among all assigned staff to ensure quality nursing services. QualificationsMinimum Education Required Completion of an accredited nursing program. Minimum Experience Required New graduates from nursing programs are encouraged to apply. Licensure and Certification Must hold a current Registered Nurse license in the State of Georgia or possess an NLC/eNLC Multistate License. BLS certification is mandatory. Additional Qualifications For PRN roles: A minimum of one year of nursing experience in a hospital environment is preferred. A Bachelor’s degree in nursing is preferred. Advanced certification in a relevant specialty area is a plus (refer to addendum). Experience in a hospital setting is highly valued.
