Department Manager Jerry's is excited to announce a new career opportunity on our Management Team.The JobEnsuring the safety of Team Members and customersDelivering World Class Customer Service and Jerry's business strategiesObserve, coach, and teach Sales & Stocking Team Members on all work processesPlanning & managing department work and labor resourcesPartnering with Purchasing and Merchandising Teams to ensure merchandising plans are properly executedOther duties as assignedRequirementsCommitment to Jerry's Value Mission, Customer Experience Delivery Principles, and Jerry's Strategic PrioritiesDisplay and attitude that is courteous, tactful, diplomatic, outgoing, and friendlyPassion to teach, coach, and develop a successful teamKeen awareness of, and attentiveness to, customer & Team Member needsAbility to assess customer service needsAbility to communicate effectively and maintain productive working relationshipsExcellent verbal and written communication skillsExcellent organizational & time-management skills, and attention to detailCompensationAnnual compensation starting at $50,000 to $70,000, including Commission Shares and overtimeFull-time position with Medical, Dental, Vision, and Disability benefits401(k) and Employee Stock Ownership ProgramScheduleScheduled 40 - 45 hours weekly and will include opening, closing, and weekend shiftsTypically 5 days a week with rotating regular schedule which includes every-other weekend off, and one day off per weekPosition available at our Eugene and Springfield locaitons Jerry's Home Improvement Center is a drug-free work environment and an equal opportunity employer.
