Server Assistant – Brass Tack – Waldorf Astoria Chicago Waldorf Astoria Chicago is seeking a Server Assistant to join the Brass Tack team. Classification: Full‑Time Shift: Various – must be available weekdays, weekends, and holidays. Pay Rate: $15.75 per hour, based on applicable experience and location. Union Position: This position is part of Local 1 Union. Requires open availability. Hours are based on seniority and business needs and may be minimal until seniority is established. Responsibilities Set and prepare tables for dining, including folding napkins, cleaning and placing tableware, serving water, etc. Ensure tableware is in good working condition and report any defects for repair. Stock, maintain and clean designated food station(s). Assist food servers with table service, including serving beverages, breads, etc. Retrieve and transport dirty tableware to the dishwashing area. Respond to guest inquiries and requests, resolving issues in a timely, friendly and efficient manner. Qualifications Hospitality – passionate about delivering exceptional guest experiences.
