Senior Salesforce Developer

Salesforce DeveloperThis role involves programming, using Apex, JavaScript, and other development languages and tools. This role requires a solutions builder who wants a collaborative environment and is also able to work independently. In this role you will assume responsibility for the code-related & technical work to support the Go-Live on our enterprise transformation project.You must exist to support our business partners between 8AM – 5PM Eastern. Core duties and responsibilities include:Working closely with business unit leaders, customers, project teams, and other stakeholders to understand desired outcomes and implement solutions in the Salesforce platform.Participating in the full application life cycle - design, development, testing, and deployment to ensure successful implementation of developed solutions.Participating in daily scrum meetings, analyzing user stories, identifying/resolving gaps in functional user stories/business requirements.Conducting independent code reviews and writing unit/integration test cases as necessary to ensure test compliance.Taking a lead role as an SME for integration, deployment, and release management, utilizing TA enterprise tools such as JIRA, Bitbucket, Bamboo, Salesforce DevOps.Understanding of Salesforce core functionality and best practices including the ability to create and train other team members on those concepts.Familiar with validating application code using unit tests, security tests, and profiling tools.Effectively debugging and resolving issues and/or defects which may be reported as a result of faults in the production system.Assisting in identifying, troubleshooting, and resolving defects encountered during various stages of project delivery, including during the deployment and implementation of the solution in production environments.Adhering to defined coding standards and developing well-structured, maintainable, and easy to understand code.Producing project documentation, including functional and technical designs, and end-user guides.Developing Apex classes and triggers, Lightning Components, and Visualforce.Writing test classes to ensure proper code coverage.Working with integrated applications such as SAP, Mulesoft, MDM.Unit/UAT testing & debugging.Supporting the Salesforce Administrator.Core competencies: Mandatory/required technical skills years of experience:Experience in both Classic and Lightning 2+Design Salesforce Cloud solutions 2+Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio 5+APEX Classes 7+Triggers 7+SOQL 7+Scheduled & Batch classes 7+Visualforce pages 7+Lightning components 7+Standard template documentation 7+Understanding of Salesforce Deployment Process 5+Change Sets 7+Salesforce CLI 3+Desirable/optional technical skills years of experience:Experience participating in an Agile or Kanban team 3+JQuery 3ServiceNow 3Jira 3Zephyr 3Bitbucket 3Bamboo 3Confluence 3BootStrap 3Lightning Design System (LDS) 3JavaScript 3HTML 3CSS 3ETL tools 3MuleSoft or API Development 3Required certifications:Technology Degree or CertificateSalesforce Developer 2 or EquivalentTrailhead Ranger-level ready to test or Combined ExperienceNon-technical/professional skills:Excellent written and verbal communication skillsExcellent analytical aptitude with a proven ability to analyze/interpret dataWell-organized, methodical thinker with excellent decision-making skillsStrong and creative problem-solving skillsProficiency in Microsoft office applicationsAbility to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple prioritiesRequired skills: Salesforce.
