Staff Management Group is seeking a Filling Line Supervisor for our client in Clifton, NJ. Please read the ENTIRE job description and ALL of the job requirements BEFORE applying for this position.

Schedule:

• 1st Shift: 7AM - 3:30PM
• Monday - Friday
• Plus overtime

Pay Rate:

• $24 - $26 / hour

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Filling Line Supervisor to oversee daily filling and packaging operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for supervising production employees, coordinating workflow, operating and troubleshooting filling equipment, and ensuring production goals are met while maintaining the highest standards of quality, safety, and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP). The ideal candidate has strong leadership skills, mechanical aptitude, and experience in a regulated manufacturing environment.

Job Responsibilities:

• Supervise and support filling line and packaging employees to ensure daily production goals are achieved
• Prepare the assigned production area for daily operations and ensure equipment is ready for use
• Assign daily responsibilities, monitor production output, and provide guidance to team members throughout the shift
• Set up, operate, troubleshoot, and perform machine adjustments on filling and packaging equipment
• Assist with minor equipment repairs and identify opportunities to improve equipment performance
• Monitor production processes to ensure products meet quality, safety, and production standards
• Enforce company policies, GMP, sanitation, safety procedures, and quality protocols
• Complete production documentation, quality records, and report equipment or production issues to management
• Train employees on equipment operation, production procedures, and workplace safety practices
• Maintain technical knowledge of assigned production areas and communicate effectively with supervisors, managers, and team members
• Assist with lifting and moving machine parts, raw materials, and finished products as needed
• Maintain a clean, organized, safe, and productive work environment
• Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned.

Job Requirements:

• Previous supervisory or leadership experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably operating filling, packaging, or production equipment
• Mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot, adjust, and perform minor repairs on production machinery
• MUST be bilingual in English and Spanish with strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
• Experience in cosmetics, pharmaceuticals, personal care, food manufacturing, or another regulated manufacturing environment preferred; knowledge of GMP and quality standards required
• Ability to work flexible hours, including occasional schedule changes and Saturdays, and lift up to 50 lbs while standing, walking, bending, reaching, pushing, and pulling throughout the shift
