Job Summary: Teacher of Biology and General Science
Qualifications: Appropriate Illinois License for Secondary teaching in subject areas indicated
Working Conditions: 7-12 Jr.-Sr. High School with enrollment of approx. 150 7th-8th grade and 250 9th-12th grade students. School district is located approximately 20 miles south of Jacksonville and north of Jerseyville and 45 minutes from Springfield and Alton.
Salary/Benefits: Salary is based on education and experience on a negotiated salary schedule. Partially paid single health/life/dental insurance and an annual health reimbursement account is provided. Opportunity for partially reimbursed continuing education tuition is available. Details of employment benefits are in the Professional Negotiation Agreement posted on the district website at
