Registered Nurse – NICU in a Level II NICU unit located in Westwood, New Jersey. This travel assignment starts on 09/29/2026 and runs for several weeks. Weekly pay ranges from $1,638 to $1,762, with 0 guaranteed hours. Shift is 3x12-hour nights in a 5-bed NICU unit.

Responsibilities
- Provide direct, evidence-based nursing care to neonates in a Level II NICU, including ongoing assessment of clinical status and response to treatment.
- Support respiratory care with various ventilation and support modalities (AC/PC/SIMV, CPAP, BiPAP, PEEP, Bubble CPAP, Hi-Flow NC); monitor thermoregulation and heat stability.
- Administer medications and IV therapies, manage lines (UAC/UVC and central lines as applicable), perform blood administration, and monitor for signs of sepsis or sepsis workups.
- Support feeding needs (breast/bottle feeds; gavage/NG/OG tubes) and coordinate phototherapy as indicated; perform or assist with APGAR scoring.
- Document in Epic and collaborate with the NICU interdisciplinary team; ensure adherence to infection control and neonatal care protocols.
- May float to Baby Nurse as needed to balance patient assignments and maintain safe staffing.

Requirements
- Active RN license in New Jersey or a valid compact license per state requirements.
- Certifications: BLS and NRP or NRP Advanced; STABLE also listed (optional).
- Experience: Minimum 2 years NICU experience preferred; travel experience preferred.
- Ability to work in a Level II NICU setting and comply with unit-specific policies; able to work night shifts.
- Onboarding requirements: core items and labs must be completed within 48 hours of contract signing.
