Location: McLean, VA - Fully onsite - Need local resource Salary Range: 55-60/hr on w2 Candidate should be able to work on Artech w2 Introduction Join our dynamic team as we embark on the Mercury Plus adjustment automation initiative. This is a short-term engagement tied to EVP-level funding with a hard budget stop at the end of February/into March. You'll be part of a team automating finance/capital adjustments currently handled manually, building on existing system infrastructure. Required Skills & Qualifications 3 years hands-on Python development with a bachelor's degree, or 1-2 years with an advanced degree Production-grade coding (not scripting), Git, Pandas, unit testing Strong communication skills for direct interaction with finance/capital business users Ability to work directly for Artech on W2 Prior work experience at client or in client's industry Preferred Skills & Qualifications Financial/accounting background (income statement adjustments, category movements) Java exposure (helps with design pattern understanding) Graduate degree in Computer Science or Mathematics Experience with Snowflake, Shell scripting/Unix, JIRA/Atlassian suite, AWS/cloud Day-to-Day Responsibilities Participate in the automation of finance/capital adjustments Collaborate with team members to build on existing system infrastructure Communicate effectively with business users to explain and justify code review/QC comments Engage in some analyst-type responsibilities due to the absence of a dedicated business analyst team Company Benefits & Culture Comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance Opportunities for professional development and growth Inclusive and collaborative work environment For immediate consideration please click APPLY to begin the screening process with Alex.
